I didn't take the straight line into finance. I started by building something.

In 2018 I founded Mahakali Logistics in Mumbai, a data-driven supply chain operation with a 6-member team, a 120-vehicle fleet, and 50+ vendor relationships. I ran daily operations, did root-cause analysis on logistics bottlenecks, and drove a 35% improvement in efficiency and a 30% increase in profitability through better cost control and transparency. When it was time to move on, I had built something real and left it in better shape than I found it.

While running Mahakali I also completed my Master of Commerce in Finance and Accounting at the University of Mumbai. Then I made the move to New York City for an MS in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Stevens Institute of Technology. During that time I joined TDS Telecommunications as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where I built executive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, designed Snowflake data pipelines, and contributed to $50M+ in free cash flow improvements across a $500M+ revenue operation.

Then Omnicom.

I joined in August 2023 as Financial Applications Manager, leading enterprise financial applications and reporting infrastructure for 10,000 users across 150+ global business units processing $17B+ in annual transactions.

The work spans four areas. Financial systems and reporting is the core: consolidating data from D365, Workday, SAP, and Hyperion into standardized reporting for business units and C-suite stakeholders. On top of that I drove the AI strategy, building a multi-model LLM environment that gives end users natural-language access to the enterprise data lake across GCP, Azure, and AWS with Microsoft Foundry as the data layer. On the compliance side I manage 100+ SOX-compliant ITGC controls across the financial applications portfolio, with zero material weaknesses in quarterly audits and remediation cycles cut by 40% through automated control testing. I also built an enterprise ESG reporting pipeline in Azure Synapse, consolidating Scope 1-3 emissions data from ERP and operational systems for investor-grade sustainability disclosures.

The $13 billion IPG acquisition added another dimension. I partnered with M&A, Treasury, Legal, and external counsel on financial due diligence, integration planning, and regulatory support across 150+ combined business units. Led ERP implementation and post-go-live hypercare, aligning stakeholder requirements, coordinating configuration and cutover, and resolving issues to stabilize operations and reporting continuity.

That work, the AI reporting layer, the integration patterns, the governance model, became Aether Ops.

Outside of work I mentor early-stage founders on navigating corporate and government grant programs. Most first-time entrepreneurs don't know what's available to them. Getting someone to their first grant, watching it unlock the credibility for the next thing, that part doesn't get old.

Training for IronMan 2027. Ultra Marathon 2028 is on the calendar too. Strong opinions on semiconductor supply chains, the Fed, and why ERP is the most interesting AI problem nobody is talking about.
